What will I study?

You will get the opportunity to perform as a group at various performances. These include Blackpool Dance Festival, Schools Alive, Blackpool Youth Festival and all Unity Productions. These performances include many styles of dance including Street and Hip-Hop, Contemporary and Contact Work.
As a group you will visit local theatres to view the work of professional dance companies.

Why do this course?

Over the course you will train to a professional standard in Dance. The course allows you to improve your technical and performance skills as a dancer. Weekly technique classes will help improve your physical skills and creative workshops will push you as a choreographer.

How will I be assessed?

As part of your assessment you will be required to perform a Set Dance, a Performance piece and two solo dances.
