Congratulations to our STEM team for coming a very respectable 10th place in the local STEM Skills Challenge Final!
Blackpool and The Fylde College played host to The Gazette Young Engineers competition last week.
A team of 4 STEM (science, technology, engineering and maths) subject lovers at Unity took part in the competition, along with teams from 17 other local schools.
The challenge set to each team was to design, build and fly a model aircraft with a host of materials provided by the college.
This is the fifth year Unity has taken part in the Young Engineers competition.
