On Thursday 28th June, our Geography students attended a field trip where they carried out various fieldwork activities.

All students completed environmental surveys from south pier to the sand dunes, deciding if the area was clean, well looked after and if the environment had been looked after. In addition to this students completed quadrat measurements on the sand dunes, measuring sediment size and how it changes and also, vegetation samples and how they varied across the long profile of a dune.
