Unity students take the stage by storm!

Recently, 12 gifted and talented performers from Unity Academy were given the opportunity to work with the professional dance group, ZooNationUK. During workshops students were able to learn new skills in hip-hop and dance theatre.

After several intense practice sessions, pupils then took to the stage at the Grand Theatre and performed to a packed live audience.

Following the performance, the students were able to meet and greet the cast and fellow professionals to receive some tips and advice on how to become a performer. All the students involved were awarded the discover arts award.

Into the Hoods:Remixed is currently touring across the UK and is the newly revamped version of the award-winning production that first stormed London's West End in 2008.
