'Performance Top' Award Incentive

The students are encouraged to take part in extra-curricular sporting activities throughout the school year. Our incentive for our students is for them to be awarded with a special 'Unity Performance Top' - (Modelled here by Alicia Stretton, Year 8)

The students are given a card at the start of each year. Thorughout that year, every time they attend an extra curricular activity or compete for Unity Academy, they are rewarded with a stamp. Once a student reaches 40+ stamps on their card, they are rewarded with a 'Performance Top' containing 1 star below the Unity Badge. The aim for our students, is to increase the number of stars on their shirt each year. Similar to the way in which Countries are awarded a star each time they win a World Cup in Football.

This year, a total of 29 Performance Tops were awarded to students across various year groups. A huge congratulations to our Year 7 Rugby Team upon winning the 'Team of the Year' Award.

We would like to share a few photographs taken on the night.
