Catch Up Premium

What is The Catch Up Premium?

The Catch Up Premium is government funding delegated to secondary schools to ensure that all children who did not achieve 'secondary ready' levels at the end of primary school can catch up during year 7.  The government gives £500 per student to support intervention sessions in reading or maths for students who do not reach a level 4 in either reading and/or maths at the end of primary school.
