Edge Hill University Aimhigher Visit
Some of our year 10 and 11 students had the opportunity to explore Edge Hill University this week. The day was guided by four fantastic student ambassadors, who enlightened and entertained the students throughout the day.
The morning comprised of a session of games, quizzes and activities, all aimed at educating the students about higher education, qualifications, courses, prospectuses and university choices. This was then followed by a campus tour, where they explored all the facilities on offer and viewed the new building works, to be completed next year.
For lunch students were given a voucher to spend in the Terrace, so they could eat along side the university students. In the afternoon students took part in a study skills, careers and employability session. Here students learned about mind maps, Pictionary and application forms. Prizes, congratulations and goodbyes ended a very successful day.
