Autism Awareness Day
My name is Courtney Thomson (Year Ten) and I have organised these activities for world Autism Awareness Day on 1st April.

Donate 20p in form to get a wordsearch. All completed wordsearches will go in a draw for a easter egg. There will be one winner for each year group.

Bands will be available for 30p. You could wear these on your wrist or on your ankle. Primary school pupils will have a colouring sheet to do during the day.

All the money raised will go to Blackpool Tiggers, a social and leisure group for children on the autistic spectrum. Tiggers may have to close soon though due to a lack of funds - we want to stop that.

Autism Awareness Day is important to me because my younger brother is profoundly Autistic. To me he is no different from anyone else, just unique and I wish to show other people that. My mission is to increase autism awareness across Blackpool.
