All pupils do drama in key stage 3.

GCSE

Drama GCSE is for you if:

You are interested in developing your performance skills
You work well with other pupils
You want to develop a highly skilled way of looking at and understanding the world around you
You are keen to develop skills in analysing dramatic performance

The course is made up of 60% coursework and 40% examination.

The coursework is assessed on written responses, the process of making a performance and the final performance itself. We offer both acting and design options.

The examination is assessed from two sections. Section A is on a set text from a performance perspective. Section B is an analysis of a live performance.
