Business Studies

GCSE Business is a new qualification at Beacon Hill and is equal to two GCSE's. It is a national recognised work-related qualification designed to provide a choice of routes into further education or employment.

There is no need to have studied Business before embarking on this course, it is more important that pupils possess an enquiring mind, an interest in Business, willingness to explore new ideas and the ability to communicate ideas effectively.

Business is taught in a modern and fun way. Coursework evidence is collected through role play, videos, trips, photographs, simulations, case studies, investigations, work experience and observations.
